Lung & Heart Transplant Foundation

The Lung & Heart Transplant Foundation was formed in 2011 by a group of transplant recipients, caregivers and medical professionals as a California 501 (c) 3 charitable nonprofit. The Organization is all-volunteer. The Board of Directors does not receive any compensation for their participation. The donations we receive go directly toward providing financial assistance to needy lung & heart transplant recipients. Financial assistance improves access to care, covers medication copays and alleviates some short term financial stress, so patients can make progress in their recovery.
