Amy Illich

Amy Illich is a member of the Board of Directors. Mrs. Illich has worked in the medical field for 13 years in both a clinical and administrative capacity. In 2016 she took over the role of Patient Coordinator in the UCSD Lung Transplant team where she guided patients through the multiple phases of the pre-transplant process. Amy coordinated consultations, medical testing and compiled comprehensive records to enable the UCSD Lung Transplant team to make an informed decision on the best option for a patient’s treatment, including transplant.

Amy left the medical field to start a family and is now the mother of two beautiful children. Her experience and passion for helping transplant patients and families motivated her to join the Board of Directors.
