LeeAnn Pusateri is a member of the Board of Directors. LeeAnn was just 43 years old and a mother of two very young children when she was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2009.
After five years of declining lung function, she received a double lung transplant at UCLA Medical Center. A graduate of the University of Utah, LeeAnn spent over 25 years in the medical device industry, primarily in Operating Room, Interventional Cardiology and Radiology. She is now active with Lifesharing San Diego, a Donate Life Organization, speaking to high schools and universities in San Diego and Imperial Counties as well as teaching public speaking skills. She also travels and speaks about strength and survival to organizations throughout the west, including schools, nursing organizations, company meetings and has testified on the need for better technology in Washington D.C. She still has two children, who are now teenagers.
